Greetings,
It seems like we have a great number of experienced individuals who are quite adapt at manipulating, restoring and preserving items. Well, I know this isn't directly related to a pickelhaube or even a WW1 piece. I recently came into possession of a Tigerverbande crest. This piece has lots of rust and scale on it. The previous owner stated that it was in a fire. I am curious on what methods would you consider employing on an item like this? I thank you for your time and responses.
