Several great museum ref the Battle of the Bulge but La Roche is a must see. Also a very pretty town and overlooking castle.

Again trying to add useful images of WWI period MG08/15. Also reflecting all the accessories. Here is the 08/15 crew's spare parts wallet which contained the tool roll too.

Probably an EM34 which is indeed similar but all the RF accessories are different to the WWI issue pieces. The other challenge is differentiating between WWI Issue tripods and WWII issue....the big ones as in your image.
