Some New Additions to My Wappen Collection

About a month ago, I had an opportunity to purchase some wappen for my collection. Here are some photos taken today:
IMG_4623.jpeg
Saxe Garde Reiter OR's, obviously a rare piece.
IMG_4624.jpeg
Soldered screw posts. I don't know whether there are soldered loop versions of these or not.
IMG_4628.jpeg
Hussar Regts 1 & 2, unfortunately, much of the neusilber finish is missing.
IMG_4629.jpeg
Having taken numerous photos of Tony's skull collection I believe this to be an original.
IMG_4630.jpeg
Pre 1912 JR 92 Reservist OR's wappen worn by 1 & 2 Batt. The Reservist cross is integral to the star and running horse. Note as well, there is no "Fur Koenig" bandeau on the eagle as the motto appears on the cross. This is regulation but there are examples where the cross was simply added to the "Koeing" plate. Note the fine details including the pebbling behind the running horse.

Screw posts indicates an older piece. More to come...

Awesome Brian! I love the IR92 - that integrated reservist cross is remarkable and unusual. (y)

My thanks to all for your kind comments! This completes my wappen additions although I am going to post photos of the JR 92 star and running horse removed from the wappen. :) 👍

That was quite an outlay!

Terrific! I especially like your Imperial eagle, the gilt finish is outstanding

Yes, the Imperial eagle is a little beauty with terrific detail and excellent gilding.
