Yes, the Dragon is an M60 marked DR9 (battle of Mars-La-Tour, Totenritt of August 1870) The DR9 was Hanoverian, garrisoned Metz after 1873. A prestigious regiment, it was awarded the eagle victory banners in 1899.
In France, the M60 and M67 models are rarely for sale.
I was asked to appraise these helmets. This gave me the opportunity to acquire the KR7 that I showed here a fortnight ago.
