KUBE 152.Auktion part 2 -May 9th 2026-

Amazing after all these years Herr Kube has gone to live bidding. I wish the late, great Steve McFarland could be here to see this.
As a follow up to Auction 151, I won a helmet. I was able to pay by check in US dollars with a $35 fee and had him ship it to my friend in Hamburg . I sent check on April 6th and the helmet arrived in Hamburg on April 21st. in excellent condition along with his catalogs that he will not mail to the USA any longer. Someday, my friend will send them to me with some other acquisitions by DHL Express.

I won the 1867 Prussian infantry spike helmet. 850 Euros bid and 1088 Euros all in (except postage). A very good price, I think. The last 1867 Pickelhaube I saw being sold privately in Germany went for 1200 Euros.
