Help Identifying this Pickelhabue

I just visited my East Prussian Aunt. She gave me this Pickelhaube, which she purchased in an antique shop in California. I'm having trouble identifying it because of the fluted spike. I cannot seem to find a Prussian pickelhaube with that spike. It is in rough shape and is missing pieces. It seems off.

This one seems a pieced together one, on the inside you see that it once had a kreuzblatt, on the outside a round spikebase is fitted. The visor is also not a round one, but square edged. In my opinion a parts helmet. I can be wrong though..

Helmet completely cobbled together. Practically nothing to recover. The rear spine isn’t good, nor is the tip; it looks like a tip of an M86 Bavarian welded onto an "adjustable" M15 base...

You're right, Coert. This pickelhaube has so many flaws that it's not worth repairing. The brass parts are painted with oil paint, and it's unclear what's underneath.

You are right @CLOVIS 57 , I also saw that spikebase, which was originally for a removable spike. A parts helmet.
