Do you have photos of your GGF, or a name and which regiment he served? Looks like a NCO helmet M/91. The large emblem is really nice. The Bavarian cockade is missing? The value depends on condition and history. If you can prove that the helmet belonged to a NCO in a regiment, the price...

Welcome to the forum :) The helmet looks mostly original. The cockade and the chin strap are reproductions. The liner could be original, but I'm not entirely sure about that. However, the helmet is in poor condition and would need to be restored. On the photos it looks as if the rear visor is...

Very, very interesting. More and more doubts come to my mind. So many authentic old helmets with an additional banner... May be we are looking at the wrong regiment? The IR115 regiment didn't even exist back then, and perhaps the banner was worn by a completely different unit than expected?
