I think I‘m wrong. From the picture the upper part looked to me like KR3 (see picture attached) but the Litzen are clearly from Garde Kürassier. Sorry for mixing things.

Strangely this helmet has not been sold in February for the limit of Euro 240.

55 years! He started 1969, when he was 20 years old. Big advantage: Generations of collectors bought from him and their heirs sold the collections afterwards through him.

Very nice. It’s from Hoflieferant M.Neumann in Berlin. (supplier to the court)
These helmets are usually best quality.
I have a similar example.

I guess if you’re 75 like him you don’t care about new stuff like online bidding. 😃 Maybe Sugenheim has no good broadband connection….. would be no real surprise 😧

I‘m by far not the expert in flags, but if I’m not mistaken Helmut Weitze offered a couple of months ago the UR 8 standard. You can still see a picture, when you scroll down the highlights section. I remember it since my mother was born in Gumbinnen.

Good question. Never seen this type.
I only remember this one:

Congratulations! Beautiful helmet.
For me an an iconic helmet. The shape and the interplay of the gold and black parts is impressive. There are certainly rarer helmets, but for me it's an absolute highlight.
