Yes, I used to have this helmet. Here it is. This Helmet is an 1867 Foot Troops so the Adler has tangs on the reverse to slide it on. I vote the Adler was not slid down far enough.

Took them for you this afternoon. Grabbed a Neusilber and brass. It made me contemplate all my Preussen Tschapka…. Do they have those rods? Unfortunately I cannot bring myself to remove them. 100+ years of verdigris stays.

Landwehr eagle. The Neusilber Landwehr cross is missing, and an EK miniature has been added. It looks great! Yes not pre-1918 but it is something I would have bought as it’s interesting.
