Outstanding display

I get all my stands from skipper greenwade! He does outstanding work, he has a website you can find just by googling his name. If I remember right each stand is about 40 dollars a piece.

This helmet has been discussed on the WAF, by members who have an account on yhis forum as well and it did not get good reviews.

I imagine I will NEVER find what random variant of spike belongs there lol

Has anyone seen that strange spike base in the past?

Thank you very much! I was very hesitant to start this one since it clearly sat in an attic or basement and received lots of water and heat damage.

Well gentlemen seeing as how I've had some spare time on my hands as of late I was able to make a fair amount of progress on this one afterall. I disassembled the helmet and cleaned up the leather a little and have reshaped the skull. I hated to cut the original stitching but unfortunately...

I was able to get the medal needed, still on the hunt for the other items.

Still on the hunt for the chinscales and a national cockade to go with the round hessian one.

I tried but was asleep when the auction ended

I finally finished this helmet with the help of some gracious forum members and I think it turned out very well!

It is a smaller helmet as all of the visor trim that I have is actually too small for the helmet, and I'm reasonably certain that the trim that was on the helmet originally can't be salvaged

I am just now realizing how long it's been since I touched this project but I was finally able to finish the stitch work on this piece and am now on the hunt for the remainder of the parts!

Good evening gentlemen, A friend of mine recently acquired this collar from an imperial uniform but I am at a loss for what it would belong to, I am guessing political or maybe pioneer or medical given the color combination of black, red piping and silver tabs? Any help would be appreciated...

It's got a 3rd kompanie stamp but no regimental mark
