Your Bavarian police(Gendarme) helmet is just fine, they came both ways with Reich kokarden and or Bavarian Kokarden, I have attached pics of mine. I use to know the reason why they had different color kokarden, but I cannot remember now, it sucks getting old. Your Bavarian Reserve officer...

Talking to a fellow collector, only a couple known to exist

we talked about it on another part of the forum, it is a rare Fireman's helmet for Anhalt, there is a whole other collector group that collects fireman and Police helmets. Nice piece. James

IMO they are original that used to be small hole type and someone drilled out the hole to fit M91/95 posts. James
