To my eyes, looks like an M1881 Dress Helmet, Summer Variant, being in white. I think the two might denote to the US 2nd Infantry Regiment, however I could be wrong. It has the later plate on it, so I'd say its made more towards 1890. It also lacks the Chain that goes around these helmets. I...
