Hello everyone! I have a family member who is going to be leaving for a European trip, and she will be stopping briefly in Munich. She wants to bring me back some souvenirs, so she asked me to find some good militaria shops in Munich that she should check out. Do ya’ll have any recommendations?

Yes, this! The helmet is egg-shaped; that's a common characteristic of Indian fakes. The proportions of everything is off, the wappen is wrong, and the chinstrap is without a doubt not original.

I agree, and its quite unfortunate. As for “aging” it is without a doubt an extremely poor attempt. It appears to be green paint that someone watered down and then splotched all over the metal bits. I’ve also seen an Indian fake badly dressed up as a “salty” M15 with gray painted fittings and...
