    Original Krätzchen?

I agree with the others its very well made but not made during the first world war IMO also look at the leather sweatband and the machine stitching holding it in. It's all a guess at this point but I would think someone had it custom made and I would also think it wasn't cheap at the time...

TacPickel The Pickel is making a comeback

Looks like the power of Pickelhaubes.com did it again. (y) It sold out on Ebay . I'm sure they will list more or someone if interested could contact them direct. I also thought it was just too cool to pass on and wanted to buy a few for my buddies who are ex-Military and still do...

    Question on Prussian General Pickelhaube

Hi Rob, It's just that were the spike and base screw together that they meet flush on the Generals spike. Compared to others where the base actually goes into the small lip of the spike when together. It's Kinda hard to explain without pictures but I think if you look again at the photo's...

    Flammenwerfer Totenkopf

I remember this tunic I was hanging on and bidding for a little while. It's one of my all-time favorites and looking back should have done more to get it but we all know how that can go the winner may have felt the same way and who knows where it would have ended. Maybe divorce :oops:

Helmet for sale at German auction

The crazing on the shell looks so uniform it almost looks like alligator skin. Very interesting looking. I would have a hard time bidding on an expensive helmet without more photos.

    M. 1807 Wurttemberg 100th Anniversary Helmet

No problem happy to do so. (y) If you look really close at that photo of all the dismounted calvary on parade, I think you can see our guy in there between the two mounted Dragoons. Super cool IMO. 😁

    M. 1807 Wurttemberg 100th Anniversary Helmet

Dugout this one for the Wurttemberg Jaeger Regt zu Pf Nr3. Herzog Louis out today just to share. It always amazes me how much quality and effort they put into making these. I have seen several different ones in Museums in Germany and Austria just as representative examples to show rare units...

    M. 1807 Wurttemberg 100th Anniversary Helmet

These were made for the Centennial Celebration of the Napoleonic Wars. I really love them especially since you will never in your live be able to find or afford an original. Not sure how much you are into the Uniforms of the Napoleonic wars but I'm a total nut for the entire period. I have the...

1901 IMPERIAL YEOMANRY OFFICER'S DRAGOON HELMET

I've heard of collectors having very good results with baby shampoo, but I'd also be interested in hearing what David has to say. He has the best conditioned helmets, I've seen. Would love to hear if he has a secret. (y)

    Interesting Helmet

Has over 6 hours left and is already up to $1312.55 US without taxes and shipping. Looks like there are at least a few people who want to fill a hole in their collection.
