The references they mention:
-The Meybauer (original was Ruhl in Leipzig in
1907). Here the 1990 reprint
-Both Gräfe Volumes.
A4 is the paper size [Europe]. In North-America "Letter" I think. So bit larger.
-the blue binders "Das deutsche Heer" are smaller format pages but these have the colour plates.
Think a collector must have copied the uncoloured plates and had them spiral bound. Not issued.
