Small M 15 line pickel with a question

Thanks for your response. I was not in favour to take it of, as it was sitting quiet straight, and hard to pass the wappen. But, you are right it helps. Flag or souvenir....

No wurry's, I spend my entyre life among antiques. Even got myself a degree in restoration. That doesn't mean I can't make mistakes, but if I do... I allways try to minimalize them ;-) That is the reason why I want to take my time to analyse it. After I settled more decently in the new home.

    Flag or souvenir....

I fully agree! I had to judge it by bad pictures, when posting, but it is indeed no flag. I would also go for a home made ...."thing"....

    Flag or souvenir....

And here is a other framed KM souvenir. Need to inspect this too, but not know. I am not sure if the scene is print or painted on the glass. Because the inner black frame is (painted on the glass!) for sure....

    Flag or souvenir....

It is in, and I took it out of the frame. The cloth is nailed on to the back of the frame. I 'll leave it as it is for now. To much other stuff to do....

    Napoleonica

Just got my self a bunch of documents to a captain who started his career under Napoleon and made it to his retirement. He got wounded several times and fought in various campaigns. Quiet intresting to read, imagining what and how it must have been...."boys will be boys"....;-)
