    Thise should mean something! I just got my bill regarding purchases I did at a French auction, and at the end of theyr message it says they no longer want to work with postal services like the ones I mentioned in the title. And I do understand them, oh so well !!

    You nailed it with the "frozen in time". Seems to me the best translation to give for the French "dans son jus", even shortened to "jus" when spoke.

    France has a regulation regarding mail boxes. You have to buy and use theyr models, only. They come with a key, for a door on the front and a different key for the back. Postal services have one key that fits all boxes for the front door, the key for the back door is personal... ...but I am sure...
