    We have all been there...back in the day my first ever m16 cammo was bought on the strength of surely they wouldn't fake these ! turned out to be an Irish helmet from 1927 made by Vickers. I found out by looking at the liner and seeing the 1927 date with the liner makers details from Dublin...

    I would agree on the above comments. Advice we give but value we don't do. Look at other sites and dealers to see what they are going for...price depends on many factors, unit markings make it more interesting but this one is missing pieces that originals to replace will cost you more money...

    Hi Rino, This is a repainted WW1 Helmet by the look of things with possibly a WW2 British helmet liner in. Honest opinion from me is it is a post war messed about with helmet, painted black and a liner added for no reason other than to de-value it further. Opinion on value as an original piece...
