    in fact look on Age of King website as they have a nice m1915 Baden for sale. Not sure what your budget is but would make a nice compare and contrast with what the other guy is selling.

    It's an m1915 pattern pickel with grey fitting and a wappen for BADEN. detachable spike and it is in poor shape. the cockades are wrong and the chin strap is a replacement repro. Look through the threads here and you will in a significant lot of the gaps in your knowledge. welcome to the hobby.

    I too avoid buying at auctions, crazy prices plus commission and then import duty. I do like the glossy catalogues but that's the extent of my participation. The next auction I go to will be the sale of my collection but only if my wife takes me in my urn....:ROFLMAO: tony
