    This is a reserve officer's helmet in an Infantry Regt. (Cross on shield = Reservist, Flat Chin Scales = Infantry, and the pierced crown and Pearl Ring around the throat of the spike = Officer) This is a beautiful helmet. You did well when you got it. Congratulations! Jim
