    Is this flag original?

I already had my doubts about the markings, I missed the lack of eyelets though. Thanks!

    New find, a Message pad.

Very, very nice! These documents are very rare nowaday's, yours is only the second one I ever saw. They were meant to be used, sent back to headquarters, and then probably never kept. Also very nice, is that you also have the German documents to go with it! These are timecapsules, of very hard...

    M49 Hessian

I have nothing against herr Weitze, but it is known that sometimes he is creative with helmets.

    Bavarian M15

Very nice M15! What is written on the label inside it? I have my doubts about the chinstrap though. Regards, Coert.

    Baden Kugelhelm

Take a look on this helmet, also a Baden artillerie helmet. I advise you to also look at the website this picture came from, it is by one of our members, Tony Schnurr. https://www.kaisersbunker.com/dunkelblau/helmets/dbh84.htm You can clearly see the difference between his helmet, and the one...

    New find, a Message pad.

Indeed, it is. The 7th of June line. Between afternoon and evening, to be precise. And the section where the Ypres-Comines canal meets the railway line.

    New find, a Message pad.

This is my latest addition, a message pad. These were used by company leaders, or officers to send back messages, about enemy locations, where fire was coming from, enemy strongholds, asking for supports or directing fire to locations. It is dated 10-7-1917, and is original. It looks like a...

    Artillery Picklehaube identification

Probably a 1915 style officer helmet, on which the zinc fittings lost their goldwash/plating.

another thing like that, apparently there are a lot of helmets in England

That's why its better for starters to place pictures, or helmets offered on E-bay or other sites here. Here you get an honest answer to your asking about the helmets offered there. We are all collectors here, and you alway's get an honest reply about the helmets. It is one of the main points...

    German helmet / butcher bayonets

I cannot help with the markings, but the ones with the so called higher ears, like in the first picture, are the fist models, also known as Alter Art. The ones with lower "ears" are the Neuer Art. These are some fine bayonets! :)
