    Help needed - Reichskriegflagge

Hello, I will add to what WAF Forum member PaulJ said about this flag on the WAF forum, where this flag has also been posted for opinions. I agree with that other forum member, PaulJ. I believe it is Weimar or 1930's era flag. I say this because: 1.) The detail of the eagle on the top of the...

M15 Prussian Ulan Tschapka enlisted pattern with Rabatte

There is only a 1915 date inside the helmet, and the maker mark of Alexander Dahl, of Barmen. I do not see any other earlier marks or dates inside of this tschapka. The metal grommet rings for the wappen attachment are iron/steel, and not brass. I will see if I can take photos of the...

    M95 Prussian Guard Enlisted Helmet

Many thanks Bruno! I was out visiting antique shops and not seeing any military items. I asked the owners if they knew of any antique shops that had military items, and they told me about the shop in a neighboring town that had this helmet, and the ulan tschapka. Best Wishes, Alan

M15 Prussian Ulan Tschapka enlisted pattern with Rabatte

I recently acquired this nice Prussian M15 Tschapka with the parade Rabatte. The chinstrap is a copy/replica. I found it in the antique shop, along with the Prussian M95 Guard enlisted pattern pickelhaube. No extra holes, and the original metal grommet rings are intact. 1915 dated, and maker...

    M95 Prussian Guard Enlisted Helmet

I found this a couple of days ago in an antique shop. I also purchased a M15 Prussian Ulan Tschapka with a yellow rabatte, from the same source, which I will post in a separate thread. I'm guessing that this is a private purchase "extra" helmet, since the underside of the back visor has the...

    SOS 2026

I just returned from the 100-table Leavenworth, Kansas show, and did very well there once again. I actually met several customers that were at the SOS last week, and sold several things to them. The nice one-day show was busy all morning, with people coming in steady. My sale table was right...

2-Place Medal Bar: Albrechtsorden Ritterkreuz 1 Klasse and EK2

I haven't found a nice 2-Place Medal Bar for quite some time. I recently acquired this nice-looking pair. Albert Order Knight's Cross 1st Class with Swords + Iron Cross 2nd Class. The reverse has a nice Gustav Uhlig label. Gustav Uhlig was a well-known tailor and purveyor of orders and...
