Excellent example, it looks as if it just came off a supply sergeant’s shelf. Everyone who has spent a day or two in any army knows that he always holds back the great stuff in the supply room for inspections. Thank you for the nice pictures of this will preserved Pickelhaube. Best regards John

I know how folks feel one way or the other about clean or not to clean. I believe that one should attempt to preserve the helmet for prosperity and take the middle of the road approach. In the case with the pickelhaube’s rusted metal hardware silicone cloths, such as Allen’s Silicone Cleaning...

It is a fantastic book that has resided in my reference collection for a number of years. And was prodrouced by a member of our forum.
