    Unknown Picklehaube quiz

It looks like someone took a reichs cockade for a feldmutze and a #4 from a shoulder board and slapped them onto the back half of a saxon wappen or something like that.

    Baden GR.109

Unfortunately yes, but the price on this one was acceptable for me and I don't think I'll be finding any silver fittings with this exact patina on it, I'm still a huge fan of this one either way.

    Baden GR.109

My best guess would be that the helmet stayed in service long enough for a transition to the looped wappen, maybe his old one got damaged and needed to be replaced? It's hard to say but the wappen has definitely been on this helmet for decades.

    Bavarian M15

Oh the chinstrap is reproduction, I should have been more specific, but there is no label inside, that's actually a 1 mark note from 1937 that was tucked away inside the sweat band when I bought it.

    Bavarian M15

Good Evening Gentlemen, The last of my recent acquisitions is this nice Bavarian M15 EMs pickelhaube, unfortunately it does not have all of its original components but I do have a set of Bavarian cockades which will be going on this helmet once I can dig them out, this one was manufactured in...

    Mint Baden M95

Good Evening Gentlemen, Another piece which i recently acquired out of Florida is this mint condition Baden EMs pickelhaube, it has all original components to include a nice NCOs cockade. I don't think this one was ever issued as it has no wear to the inside of the helmet and doesn't have a...

    Baden GR.109

Good Evening Gentlemen, One of my latest acquisitions is a tarnished but still very nice and well marked EMs pickelhaube to 1st Battalion 1. GR109 and dated 1890 and subsequently 1891. It features all original components including its chinstrap and I am very happy to add this one to my...

Good Morning Gentlemen, I decided to spoil myself after this last cruise and bought myself a few helmets, the first being a nice complete GR. 109 haube, it is fairly tarnished but you can see how clean and shiny it once was when you unscrew the spike, the next is a baden M95 haube which might...
