    Garde Du Corps NCO tunic

Very nice! I only have one uniform that can support a lanyard but it has a small hook instead of a button and I'm guessing by the size of the threads it was definitely a button. Would you happen to have any idea as to why there would be buttons on both sides? There are threads on the outer edge...

    Garde Du Corps NCO tunic

Could some of the members who have uniforms with marksman lanyards post photos of the style of buttons that are used to secure them please? The boards have just arrived in the mail and I plan on starting my work on them soon but would like to have that marksman lanyard button attached before the...

    Poor old soldier

You hate to see them in this shape, especially with a nice fusiliers mark on the inside. https://www.ebay.com/itm/266755514346?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=fQ_ZY3w-RRe&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=2LlBwktURh2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

    Baden IR 110=114 Enlisted Pickelhaube.

It is a very clean train abteilung helmet. I had considered snagging that one myself!

There has been some very interesting updates on the information of this card, I'd like to give credit to the individuals that found it on a different forum so I will post the link here. Hopefully that is allowed. https://gmic.co.uk/topic/82350-garde-pioneer-flamethrower/

    JR. 94

I'm thinking I'll just let it go if it goes too much higher, I want a nice match to put my pistol and holster on. I appreciate the expertise and I'm on the same page thinking that the liner has been replaced. I'll just have to keep my eyes out.

    Pickelhaube Opinion

Clovis makes a good point, M15 wurttemberg plates are quite scarce and you could remove it and sell it or keep it on the helmet and maintain its integrity as a souvenir piece. Similar to how people will take pins and other insignia off of hate belts and capture holsters. Personally I think it...

    JR. 94

Good morning gentlemen, I was hoping to get everyone's opinion on this piece, I have been hunting for a JR. 94 uniform for quote a while now to go with my MGK marked luger, while I am a tad bit hesitant considering this one has 3rd company shoulder buttons the liner also has me a bit concerned...

    Garde pioneer flamethrower

I remember watching his collection sell without a hope in the world of winning anything haha I knew all the big time collectors would swoop in. But the "address" is surprisingly what caught my eye and I didn't notice the skull until after I had read the back, so I would say it is a very...

    Garde pioneer flamethrower

Good evening gentlemen, I was lucky enough to come across this wonderful period photo post card of an NCO from the garde pioneer regiments flamethrower company. It looks like this was trimmed by the person who originally received it in order to fit in a frame and was then unfortunately glued...

    Garde Du Corps NCO tunic

There are a few on ebay that I am watching, I just have to get home and see what style are already on my uniform and see if the ones online match. One thing I'm not sure of is where I'll get the buttons/ hooks for the shooting lanyard. As shown in earlier posts it looks like there was some sewn...

    Garde Du Corps NCO tunic

Well gentlemen I managed to get lucky through german ebay and with some help from sandy I was able to get ahold of a pair of correct shoulder boards for this tunic. Once they arrive and are sewn in I'll post an updated photo.

    Baden pioneer, question.

It reminds me of the chromed steel M35, M40 and M42 helmets that were popular with bikers in the 70s. Maybe this is a similar item?

I would be willing to bet that the tunic in the original post belongs to your set of coats!
