Bend it the other direction and put a rubber band on it. Moniter the rubber band and take it off when satisfied. The rubber band will continue to bend in the other direction pull it off when it has done it's job.

Easy to remedy the eagle just press it on to the helmet. Unless it has fracture marks it will take it. Great felt by the way.

Thanks Colin I actually monitor US, Germany and France's eBay every day. The French spine is a little short. I made an offer on the relic spine because I think it is the right length. I just hope ( if I get it ) it will clean up .
