Well, in all fairness, I see MANY Ebay auctions were the US sellers only ship within the United States.....

BUT.....all you need is a steel jager zu pferde clover shaped base with a spike and a couple of m15 side post, and Voila, a nice m15 helmet !

This helmet is ALL wrong... Just look at the stamping inside the shell....it say 1916. Therefore it should be a M15 helmet. It should have NO brass on it. Its a pieced together jager zu pferde helmet.

The loop on the wappen holds the feldzeichen. I believe I have seen a pelzmutze hussar babdeau with the same loop.

Yes, I would call it a pile, a pile of "greatness". You must understand that there is NO other helmet like this out there across the globe. I don't think collectors understand the value of this piece. Actually, I'm surprised the seller is parting with this helmet....

You know what, you are right. If I'm to have this gem in my collection I better up my game. I will completely disregard what my wife says about "wasting money" on this rare specimen and probably bid $6250, because now I worry that since you mentioned 6000, I might have competition.... Thank you...
