You will hear many opinions on cleaning (or not) Pickelhaubes from many members on the forum. Some like to only do a light dusting and others will go towards a full restoration. It all depends on how original you wish to keep it. I think it has a certain character just how it is and would...

Just had a funny moment reading the thread title before I clicked it. Not sure if you can buy an actual Zeppelin nowadays (just kidding). The Zeppelin stuff really is fascinating though.
