    German model 18 tanker helmet

Wow! Quite the helmet and really cool to see this up close in detail. Really interesting to see a Eisenhüttenwerk Thale mark with its respective size number in the liner band. Does the cap seem to be a regular stalhelm that’s been modified with only the top half being made? Or does it look like...

    Metal Helmets

A lot of Bing traits here including: a metal trim on both visors, metal pins along the bottom circumference to hold the liner, (which I presume was a felt band with the liner attached), and the red manufacturing mark inside. This is truly a special and extremely rare piece. Thank you for sharing

    Metal Helmets

Same here. I’ve never heard of metal ersatz Shakos. If possible, could we get a few more photos of it? Otherwise, very nice grouping here!

    Erfurt 1918 Kar 98 AZ

Very surprised with it too. Absolutely amazed how it’s survived without any sort of modification from other countrys’armories or private owners. The only drawback now is that I can’t sling it on my mannequin without braking it. I’ll probably have to find one with arms and hands and have it...

    Erfurt 1918 Kar 98 AZ

My only ww1 weapon in my collection so far. A project of mine is building up a stormtrooper mannequin and the appropriate rifle for them is the Gewher Kar 98 AZ. A couple of years ago, I planned on going to the SOS 2025 to try and find one of these. But lo and behold, just some months before the...

    Brunswick R92 Question? Picture post

At a first glance, they look good, but I hope someone with more experience can provide their opinion here

    M16 helmet

Hello sir. I agree. It’s an honest helmet. It’s not the nicest looking one, but 100 years of wear and dings will do that. It’s an excellent first ww1 German helmet to collect. I also do want to caution you on any camouflaged helmets you’ll come across as fakes are plenty. If you ever have any...

109th Baden Leib Grenadier Regiment O.R.‘s Pickelhaube

Beautiful items. Leibgardes are always premium pickels to have. Yours is no exception. I’m glad you’re recovering from your heart attack.

    112th regiment ensemble

That cover is amazing. Love all those markings on it. It’s seen a lot of history

    Saxon "ersatz" troop helmet

Amazing! These are hard to ersatz models, with the Saxon ones being even rarer. These are supposedly made of cork with the visors being made of fiberboard, all of which is covered in cloth, with the rear visor having a leather trim. They would have been in a field gray cover when first produced...

    Unusual Prussian Officer ersatz Pickelhaube

This is a very interesting pickelhaube. I would have been skeptical of its authenticity, but it’s built very well and not haphazardly. All the furniture has only one set of holes into the shell so that’s a good sign. the shell looks very similar to a one piece cardboard ersatz I possess for...

    SOLD - Saxon Ersatz Kuglehelm

Looks to me like it’s an M15 model, with the removable top. But it’s made out of brass????

    Untouched eBay find.

I remember seeing this one. I thought about buying it, but alas, you got it. You showed this on a FB imperial German page and I was shocked at how different the helmet looked compared to the eBay photos. Really happy to see this one again

    Bayonet ID and price?

Hey guys. I got a few photos from a friend of mine wanting some info on this bayonet he has. He’s not much into militaria and I don’t know a whole an about bayonets myself. Also, how much could he potentially get from this? Thanks for your answers

    What is this helmet?

Very peculiar. I’m personally split on this. A lot of these corked pickelhauben were believed to be for colonial troops, when most of the time, they’re ersatz models that have faded from a field gray color. I’ve seen several fraudulent pieces online that have a tag written like this one which...
