Looking for information, (decorations, exact unit, etc.) about Karl Graf von Hertling, Rittmeister, born 1878. I believe he was in the 2. Chevauleger Regiment. A Bavarian 1914-1918 Rangliste should provide most of what I am looking for.
Any help, citations, photos or links would be greatly...
Can these epaulettes be specifically attributed to a government department or rank? I have seen a pair in gold but it was not identified beyond "hohe Staatsbeamte".
The buttons are an early style used until 1888. I presume they are original to the epaulettes.

I just acquired this set of silver chinscales with brass rosettes. They measure about 55 cm. One side is separated. Is there an easy way to repair or should this be turned over to a specialist?
This turned up. I haven't seen it yet in person and only have the photos. I can't find any reference with this arrangement of an Ersatz metal Pickelhaube with chinscales, guard star, line eagle and reserve cross. Cockades are Prussian enlisted type. Any thoughts? War bond composite or something...

I'm looking for an early screw-on type Schuppenkette and disks for a M 67 Sachsen Tschapka. Screws are still on the helmet so I don't require those. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi, I need sets of chin scales for a Prussian Tschako, M91 style and an early screw-on set (screws are still on) for a Tschapka. Preferably, condition should be very good to excellent and bright for the M91 and very good and toned for the screw-on.
Thanks!
A nice 5 color camo in very good + condition with complete liner - no strap, with maker mark BF64 and dome number. US $2200. Contact [email protected] or IM for pictures.
I have a grey fitted 1916 dated Jaeger zu Pferde helmet with a line eagle. It appears to be the only eagle that has been on the helmet. I know line eagles were used originally but this seems like a late date for one to be in use. It also has the large cockades.
Could this be for the 8th...
I don't collect Imperial German exclusively but several years ago...it may be 10 by now actually, I bought a complete 20th Ulan NCO Uniform, circa 1894 at an estate auction outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
It even had a couple of 1890's American German Turnbund medals sewn on it - one from...
