Saxon 1st Leib Grenadier Regiment IR100

At Steve's request, here is a nice one I picked up a few years back. It is a Vulcan Fiber example. Has a paper tag under the liner with the date of Januar 1895. Interesting in that on the rear it has the name / word "Thespis" and the number 117 (twice). Could not find anyone with that name...

    Prussian Beamte

This arrived in the mail today. A dark overcast day so photos are not the best. Condition is good. Has lost a couple of nuts/washers and maybe a star over the years that have been replaced but all seems to be intact. Some crazing to the shell but all parts appear to have been on this helmet...

Star of the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross

More commonly known as either the "Blücher Star" or the "Hindenburg Star" and obviously only two were ever awarded and these have been lost to time. As such, the closest a collector is going to get to owning one is to locate and purchase the extremely few examples that we collectors call...

    Baden Sr. NCO Artillery

Picked this up at the Max show last year. Overall quite nice condition Sr. NCO / Unteroffizier mit Portepee with a bit warping that hopefully should correct itself as it is now on one of Skipper Greenwades helmet stand/shapers Still learning here and often struggle trying to self identify a)...

    Some Haubs and misc items

Just a few photos of part of my Imperial items. I have more (awards, soft headgear, another Helmet or two and other stuff) but this is all that I had on my phone. Most of my collection (95%) though is WW2 so have a ways to go.....

    Baden Cavalry Landwehr Officers M1891

I've had this one for a few years. Nice condition with minor wear. Inside there is a handwritten marking 21, 1/2 which I'm note sure is a price or sizing. To me the size looks to be approx 56. On the rear skirt there is a stamp which looks like "094 E"

    New from NY

Long time collector but relatively new to Imperial. Some might know me from other forums. I've historically been focused on WW2 but started expanding to Imperial a couple of years ago. Trying to learn the rabbit hole that pickelhaubes are! My Imperial headgear collection is still small but...
