I have the 1963 edition of this book in my reference collection. It has a lot of nice plates in it, about wappen, insignias, shoulderboards etc.
A nice book to have in a reference collection, detailed info about weapons and uniforms too.
Some pictures I just took of several pages:

Nowaday's there are better reference books, then again I really like the older ones too. This 1963 edition is in my collection for a very, very long time. I find it a good read, and worth buying too. I have not a clue about it's value though, I paid about 8€ for it, but that was in the time the euro didn't exist.

Nice post
A day or 2 ago, a fellow member asked the question about the small stripe that goes at the bottom of some
shoulder straps. Your plate 7 at the bottom may hold the answer to his question, if he read the description.

That's great Steve! If he cannot read the description, I'll post another picture which will be more readable for him.
I just posted some pictures of the plates, to show what's in the book.
This book is in my collection for over 30 years now..

Regards, Coert.
