I have always loved having boxes to accompany most anything -- as they say, an original box with the item makes it more desirable though these came separately with the headgear that once resided inside. I do not collect Tschapkas and these may have been meant for those. I leave it to more knowledgeable collectors as to what these boxes may have been paired with.
I offer the two boxes shown in the photos.
The first is a square box. It is 9 x 9 inches wide and about 8.5 inches tall. No maker marks. Some separation of the rim of the lid but the leather straps are intact -- a rarity these days, though fragile and needing careful handling. Price is $150.00.
The second is a round box with the maker label inside (M. Neumann in Berlin), which I really like. It is 11 inches round and 11 inches tall. One strap is broken. The interior strap is in excellent condition. Price is $150.00.
Payment by PayPal works best for me (F&F) and I very carefully pack and ship FedEx. Shipping cost will be determined once someone says they want to buy and I can pack it up and get the exact price for shipping. I have a discount arrangement with FedEx so costs are reasonable within the USA as well as International Economy shipments by FedEx.
