I do not chase numbered straps
but these Saxon Feldgrau Infantry straps caught my eye
thanks to my collector friend Mike Kelso
single I R 105 ; the I D tag on the back side tells me that this strap
is from the collection of the late Christian Zentner
a pair of I R 107 Prince George ; a strange or different way the tressa is applied
makes me think that this was a field promotion to Officer Stellvertreter
I have never seen the tressa applied in this manor.

I meant to add that the I R 107 pair was purchased a few years ago at the S O S
from a Polish dealer who was selling his uncle's collection .I bought a lot of great straps
from that collection .The dealer said that this collection had not been offered in the last 50 years
The collector had pairs and singles .He attached each strap to a cardboard backer with straight pins .
Below each strap he wrote the I D of the straps in the neatest printing that I have seen .
I am pleased to add these to my collection

Very nice straps! The stitching on the 107’s certainly looks “done in the field “ very rough. 👍

Very nice straps! Very rare. Congratulations on your purchase! This is the first time I've seen tressa applied like this

Wow, Steve! What can I tell you? Never seen before a couple straps with this tressen applied. As usual many thanks for showing us.
