I wonder who bought these nice cards. I was too late to the party. Many more cards have identified people's names written on the backs.

No, I wish that I did. Some were gone by the time that I saw them.
I got the 100 years of the Bavarian Artillery regiment
and the Bavarian L I R
One man must have owned them all ?

I think most certainly. The named Bavarians are clearer in this crop of a larger image taken at Kelheim.

We can see at top left Gen.d.Inf. Ritter von Haag preceded by Gen.d.Inf. Graf von Bothmer. Kabinetts-Chef Ritter von Dandl is to Graf von Bothmer‘s left and Graf zu Castell-Castell is to his left. Leading the way is Graf von Moy with Generaladjutant Wilhelm Walther von Walderstötten following.
