By the way, I learned something: I did not know enlisted HR17 hussars wore chinscales, and not chinstraps, on the top of the Ueberzug in the field.

Guarded and electrified fence at the Belgian-Dutch border.
-Called: Grenzhochspannungshindernis or Todesstreifen.
-this is near Knokke. North-Sea coast. A beach hut is used here.
-Over a distance of 332 kilometers. Between occupied Belgium and the neutral Netherlands.

This photo was also taken on the Dutch border near the village of Ysendijke.
The HR17 also has chin scales on the busby.
