Apologies for the much belated response, Steve. Yes, I would bet the chronology is fall of 1914/1914-1915 winter/spring of 1915.What a remarkable set of photographs. I wonder what the sequence was? French infantry in full summer, French cavalry dead of winter, Jaegers fall or spring, judging by the leaves on the tree. But which, fall of 1914 or spring 1915?
