I can only state why I, PERSONALLY, would not want it. The finish is very bad and it looks as if it has been soaked in water, or poorly kept at some stage (I always think of kids playing with it). The deformation around the top of the 'dome' is enough to put me off and seek a better helmet. For me, the worn cockade is not really that much of an issue, but the rest is. I just gave it a glance, didn't really study it to see if it might be a parts helmet or had some reproduction parts. Again, the condition of the leather/ finish was enough to make me turn away.. unless I needed parts, then it would perhaps be a different story.
