Here are my straps for Saxon FAR 28
I love that Russian cypher
not often seen
my 2 with cyphers came from the collection of the late Christian Zentner
I sure wish that I could find an enlisted pre war strap
for this regiment with the Russian cypher

Be careful what you wish for !
I suffer from a very bad case
The fun is that it can keep your interest in our hobby
without having to buy a helmet all the time
There were a lot of straps for sale a few years ago
when the Stauffer auction was selling the Christian Zentner collection
Today I am not seeing so many straps for sale
There will be a lot of them for sale when AGM
puts the late Chip Minx's collection for sale
But AGM seems to be in hurry as it has been over a year
since they bought it

Hi Steve

You are right, most of the time, it is quite affordable compared to a Pickelhaube and the shoulder boards with cyphers are just wonderful.
On my side, I have decided to display each of my Offizier Pickelhaube alongside with a matching pairs of Shoulder boards.
Even with a few Pickelhaube, the result is quite nice.

May I ask you what is AGM ?
