The belt was in deplorable condition. I had to soften the leather so that further repairs could be made. Repairing the edges of the belt with a special ointment according to a recipe from the 19th century. After painting the top side with elastic varnish according to a recipe from the 19th century. Repairing the buckle defects by electroplating and applying silver matching Wappen. Sewing the strap in accordance with the original. Knopfs 91 were repaired - fixings to the leather. The effect came out good, I think?

Do you want a contemporary or original way? The way is as follows: vinegar 1% glycerin, castor oil. The second way alcohol about 80% glycerin and castor oil. I can send the exact composition privately.
