Not my latest find but one i have several years now:a fiberglas helmet with rivited visors
Only a very smal piece of paper left of what would have been a label from the soldier who was the owner of this helmet
On the last picture you can see the depaheg patent
First time to see it beeing regimentally marked into the liner ,that is a very unusual place
Mine is not regimetaly marked just the size in ink on the rear visor
Nice helmet james
Both, very nice examples of this rare helmet. I notice James's haube does not have the tin spike support disc. Is this the same on our first example Jonas? I this a characteristic of these vulcan fibre helmes Tony?
At some point the suport disc was on the outside of the helmet but before i bought it the disc was mounted back to the inside of the shel
you clearly see the cirkel that was made on top of the helmet over the years
So my helmet had olso the suport disc on the outside
