Farewell to Arms is a cult.
In my opinion the accuracy of the historical reconstruction is quite good.
Furthermore, it is an old film, I think it was made in 1957 and the uniforms aren't so bad.
At that time, many uniforms from the Great War were still in circulation and there were still craftsmen capable of faithfully reproducing them.
