Just arrived today
Waffenrock private purchase for the Garde Jager Batl / 2 Kp
The G J B / 2 Kp won the Kaiser Prize in 1907
It also has a Schuetzen Schnurr Stuffe 5 of woven metallic silk
and the metal coat of arms at the top
I wanted this to display along with my Waffenrock for GGR 3 / 4 Kp
who won the Kaiser Prize in 1912 . There is a special story behind that.
They go along with my Kaisr Prize collection

Oh that's beautiful Steve! No backing material, like some you've shown before for Jaeger battalions - interesting to have an example in context.

Steve, congratulations—once again, great uniforms! Best regards, Jens

... the Garde-Jager was probably also a Kapitulant (volunteering for at least four years).

Yes applied direct to the sleeve . I like that. I assume the metal back plate is inside the sleeve. i did not yet feel for it
all correct per regulations.

Many thanks for the additional information about the shoulder strap stripe .
I sort of knew what it meant , but I had planned to look it up to be correct about what I would post .
You beat me to the punch and saved me the looking
Thanks
Steve
