Just picked up this beauty, it is often mistakenly referred to as cork, but I am of the opinion that these models are simply cloth covered. the helmet on the right in the trio is a cork model. Cork models are cloth covered but do not have visor trim.

the new one is artillery and huge, fits my big noggin! Well marked and complete.

Three rally nice specimens👍 I've always wanted to add one of these to my small collection.. eventually

Very nice indeed! I like the coarse weave fabric and green toned finish on the ball. Interesting use of brass side posts and m15 ball.

Hi James.

Absolutely love the helmets and of course the Kugelhelm (y)

Could you share what the markings mean the one looks like a regimental number 2?R, the other looks like a 6 maybe a size ? and then the small case gb?

Just curious as to your thoughts. again, beautiful helmet Congratulations. mfg John Josef

Hi James,

Congratulations on this great looking, rare helmet! (y)

First time that I have seen one of these in Kugelhelm configuration.

It looks great with your other two cloth covered helmets! The large size of it is quite amazing to see next to the other two helmets!

Best Wishes,

Alan
