Feldartillerie Regt #46

I am not much into artillery helmets, but this is the prestigious AR46. Batterie #2 was Brunswick artillery, with matching cockade. I have never seen one.
Marked inside the shell between eyelets (frequent at this regiment) and on the rear bill. Uncommonly, two name tags, one for a Fahrer (driver), the other one for a Vize Wachtmeister (matching the cockades). Note the "ghost" left by the scroll on each side of the crown (will make a better picture)G1120310.JPGG1120309.JPGG1120307.JPGG1120305.JPGG1120313.JPGG1120312.JPGG1120323.JPG.

Bruno, you are killing us with your Hauben 😊

Unfortunately I can not the guys on the two name tags in the Verlustlisten 1914-18...It seems the last owner was the Vizewachtmeister, so I assume that this helmet became his property as he ended his military career before the war.
This perlring pattern is speaking for a quite old helmet worn before the war.
Is this helmet dated?

Thank you, Philippe.
No visible date. Since the regiment was established in 1899, even the oldest helmet should have been still serviceable in 1914, in theory. Don't you think?
I rather interpreted the Perlring as reflecting the NCO status.
Bruno

Confirming that I usually do not collect artillery helmets, I might put this FAR46 Pickelhaube for sale. Please send me a direct message if you might be interested.
Thank you.
