Excellent purchase! It looks to be in very clean nice solid condition. I would have to re-locate the round spike base washer plate inside the dome where it was designed to be, but it no doubt has been in that location for a long time and we all have our own opinions on moving it. As we know this was common practice post war when helmets were assembled for liberty bond sales and similar events. In the end, you have to make that decision. Nice find! You are well on your way to a great collection.

Thank you so much for you’re kind words, I really do appreciate it!

I did try to see if I could move the spike plate, the prongs are really stiff and have been in place for a long, long time, I don’t wanna damage nothing on her so I’ll be keeping it how it be.

No harm to her, if anything adds to her story!
 
Out of curiosity, what would you guys value this Haube at? Kinda wanna know how well I did in terms of price.
