I agree with that, you see On Hold when the helmet is in your shopping cart, and only when it is bought, you see Sold.

I think there has to be more to it than that my friend.

Amy posted that she bought the beautiful silver Guard helmet Prussian Guard Landwehr Officer. that's been on hold since Friday.

"This week i was tempted so I bought the guard landwher."

I believe her 100% so it shouldn't still be marked as 'On Hold" unless you can contact them to hold it for you and arrange to make payment later. Which would be fair as long as you're the first one to do so.

Or maybe you have several options to make payment, I really don't know.

I don't think you can sign in and put items in your shopping cart to keep others from buying them. If so, everyone would do that so they could have plenty of time to check them out more thoroughly before buying something.

I don't think you can sign in and put items in your shopping cart to keep others from buying them. If so, everyone would do that so they could have plenty of time to check them out more thoroughly before buying something.

I believe it has to do with payment method perhaps or other similar trigger. For example if it’s payment by bank wire they haven’t received funds immediately whereas payment by PP is instant and funds received, ergo items showing as “Held” or “Sold”.

Also you need a payment login and password so if you are abusing your privilege by placing things on hold regularly and then withdrawing the purchase (which I don’t even know if it is possible on their site) I’m sure you’d get your password and IP revoked in due coarse.

Whatever the case the initial status is an automated process. Moving something from Held to Sold may be a manual one.
