I am surprised there has not more been said about the HH
auction of Nov 8
Lots of cavalry items there for the collectors
A once in a lifetime on some of these items

I think that everybody is in " stealth-mode" for the auction

I have given up on any bids with H H
but it is a great auction
maybe one of the best that I have ever seen
depends on what you like & collect
I think the collectors in Europe will be in the driver's seat
no exchange rate ; no tariff
huge advantage

Totally agree it's very depressing, sadly I didn't hit the lottery.

Steve I was going to pick you up in the private jet and fly over to see the auction in person with a few suitcases full of euros.

I stopped buying from HH. The auction fee was 30%, that's too much for me.

John, I don't mind getting a hitch in your private jet as I shall go to the HH auction then tour round it.
Which local airport of mine do i wait for u?

The HH auction is absolutely loaded with Cavalry items this month. They have some excellent items that are out Vornholz.

I felt fortunate that the 2 swords I bid on didn't get too crazy. One of them (1 DR officer's) is in the Verlag, The German Cavalry book. I'm willing to accept the vig and the tariffs for that!

I liked that Prussian tin ersatz by Weissenburger that they had that would have been a step up in condition for me. Lucky for me it sold before I had time to think about it.

Wurttemberg U R 19 officer to parade and in the
original carry / storage case sold for $ 7,500
