Offered here is an exceptionally rare and outstanding Bavarian General’s Pickelhaube (General’s Spike Helmet) dating to 1914, preserved as a complete and matching ensemble, found in the City "Dachau" some years ago.

The set consists of:
-The Bavarian General’s Pickelhaube
-An original transport/storage case
-The original General’s plume (Federbusch / plume attachment)

This ensemble is 100% original, untouched, and in a beautiful, authentic original condition. Nothing has been restored, replaced, or cleaned in any way.
All components are period-correct and belong together.

Such complete General’s sets—especially including the original plume, are extremely difficult to find today, particularly in this level of preservation. The condition clearly reflects careful storage and respectful handling over more than a century.

This is a museum-quality piece and an outstanding opportunity for advanced collectors of Imperial German or Bavarian militaria.

Price: €12,500

Serious inquiries only. Additional detailed photographs can be provided upon request!

Wauw, prachtig stuk, en met de veren ook nog eens is het een behoorlijk uitzonderlijk stuk waar er nu ineens twee te koop zijn.
Ik moet dringend de Euro-loterij winnen :liefde:

Could you please share who the original owner of this helmet was? Is it possible to provide specific details?
Sry for the late reply, i was realy bussy the last week!

Unfortunately there is no info of the original owner name of the helmet. The Helmet came directly from a private houshold in the 60s to a well known collector and good friend of mine in Dachau, only info i got was that the owner himself lived in Dachau after the war, but there was never a name to it. The Helmet itself was sold in an small Bavarian Auction round about 2016? - i bought it from there and knew where it came from, so i contacted my friend and he still had the original box to it, he thought it would make no diffrence in the auction itself, so he never offered it as one set.

So, this piece was only in 2 collectors hands! :)

Best Regards
