Help Needed Please: Translation of a Label/Range list?

Bob and Peter! You guys are awesome! I just couldn't wrap my head around the script. With that info I found this: Unteroffizier H. C. Scheibler refers to Hans Carl Scheibler (1887–1963), a prominent German chemical industrialist and genealogist from the well-known Scheibler family in Cologne...

    I am confused!

Amy, This is a put together piece from old worn out spare parts. I don't like the wappen or the helmet shell at all. It's an extremely old shell, missing at least 1/4 of it's trim. The back spine has a hole from over polishing. The wappen is either over polished or some sort of a sand cast. It...

    Pickelhauben collection resolution

I am the new minder of this fantastic cuirass. Andrej was very flexible and allowed me to pay him on lay away. Except for a slight bump with the US Government shutdown and a delay, the shipping was perfect! I am super happy!!!! Thank you again Andrej!!!! John

    Garde Du Corps NCO tunic

While one cannot say it's impossible I would say it's highly improbable that your GdC NCO served in the Imperial Army, Navy or Seebataillon Regiments and then transferred to the GdC. See China campaign medals in use here: http://www.germancolonialuniforms.co.uk/militaria/medals%20china.htm I...

    GK and GdC helmets

I find, particularly with GdC and GKR helmets, there are ebbs and flows in their availability. As it has been noted there have been a lot more popping up as of late. I watch these helmets closely and 3-4 years ago they were in short supply. There may have been a few offerings but not as many as...

    Dresden-Wehrtechnisches Museum der Bundeswehr-Deutschland

From a purely artifact exhibit point of view, this display stinks. I would ask the curator flat out why all the display cabinets are off, dark or dimly lit. I guess if their lighting system is being replaced they may have some sort of excuse. However, look at the exploding shell exhibit. That...

    Ratisbons - Large Imperial Auction

That's a lof money for a cuirass that has been incorrectly modified. Apart from the obvious new grey interior paint the officer lion bosses are not correct for an EM cuirass. I suspect that the previous owner tried an ad hoc repair with parts they found. I would stay clear of this lot. John

Fantastic video Olaf! Really great examples. May I ask, if and when you have time, to add an English transcription in? Great work! Keep on making them! John
